IOWA CITY, IA - - The ninth-ranked University of Iowa field hockey team fell to No. 4 North Carolina, 5-0, today at Grant Field in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Black and Gold are 0-2 on the young season.
"We came out with the attitude that we wanted to represent our home field," said Head Coach Tracey Griesbaum. "We were pretty outmatched from front to back. North Carolina is an amazing veteran team. We will get back to it tomorrow and regroup for next weekend."
