  • The Big Ten Network: Programming Schedule

    IOWA CITY - The Big Ten Conference named University of Iowa junior goalkeeper Lissa Munley as Defensive Player of the Week, for her play in Iowa's win over No. 4 Duke. It is Munly's second weekly Big Ten honor of her career.

    Munley picked up the accolade for her efforts in helping the Hawkeyes earn a shutout victory against the Blue Devils. Munley recorded seven saves, six coming in the first half. This was her second shutout of the season, the first came against No. 2 Wake Forest. Iowa will host Louisville, Sept. 7, at 3 p.m. in its first home game of the 2007 season.
