Fresh off a school record setting performance, the University of Iowa women's golf team heads to Coral Gables, Fla. to compete in the Hurricane Invitational on March 3-5. HAWKEYES SET SCHOOL RECORD
The Hawkeyes fired an 877 (+13) to establish a new 54-hole all-time school record at the Westbrook Invitational on Feb. 23-24. The previous record was set at the Westbrook Invitational in 2012 when the team shot an 879. STRONG START FOR PHILLIPS
Junior Shelby Phillips paced the Hawkeyes at the Westbrook Invitational. The Arizona native carded a three-round total of 216 to tie for 14th place in the tournament and mark her third top-20 finish of the year. Phillips' score also ranks third among Iowa's all-time best 36-hole performances.
