COLUMBIA, MO - No. 27 Iowa competed at 18th-ranked Missouri, Friday. Iowa lost to the Tigers, 195.425-192.875. Iowa had one event winner in the competition.

On vault, Burke and freshman Katie Turcotte posted Iowa's best score, tying for third with a 9.85. Other vault scores include Kara Pinjuv finishing in a tie for sixth place with Missouri's Amanda Pezzullo (9.8), and Jenifer Simbhudas in eighth place with a score of 9.775. Iowa posted a team total 49.0 in the event.

On bars, Iowa was not as fortunate, posting a team total of 46.85. The top individual score for the Hawkeyes in the event was Burke, with a fifth place 9.7. Brandi Loffer finished seventh, scoring 9.65 while Simbhudas posted a 9.275 for eighth place.

The Hawkeyes fared better on beam, scoring a total 48.275. Pinjuv earned a tie for second with Adrianne Perry of Missouri (9.85). Loffer finished tied for fourth with Danielle Guider and Amanda Pezzullo, scoring 9.75, while Turcotte and Burke tied for seventh with a 9.725.

Iowa finished strongly on floor, earning 48.75 as a team, while Simbhudas tied for first with Danielle Guider, scoring 9.8. Amanda Rudolph also had a strong showing, earning a third place tie with Missouri's Julie Abaray, scoring 9.775.

In the all-around, Missouri's Adrianne Perry posted the top score with a 39.3. Iowa's Burke finished second, scoring 39.0 total points, and Pinjuv finished with 38.6 points for third place in the all-around.

Iowa will compete at Oklahoma, March 17th at 7 p.m.
