IOWA CITY, IA - The University of Iowa women's gymnastics team was well represented in the latest GymInfo national rankings.  Iowa has achieved top rankings in the Big Ten, North Central Regional, and nationally.

Freshman Katie Turcotte is ranked first in the Big Ten and 24th nationally on vault with a 9.789 average. Jen Simbhudas is ranked third in the conference and 50th nationally on the event, posting an average of 9.796. On bars, Katie Burke is ranked sixth in the region and 38th nationally with a 9.757 average, while on floor she is ranked 10th in the region, posting a 9.718 average.

In the all-around, Burke is ranked 27th nationally while Simbhudas is ranked 36th. Burke's all-around average of 38.657 has her ranked third in the Big Ten.

As a team, Iowa is ranked 21st nationally and will compete at Minnesota, Saturday at 6 p.m.
