Before returning to Iowa, Wisehart was head coach at New York University, and directed all aspects of the men's and women's club program. Wisehart rowed bow in the Women's Varsity Lightweight 4+ in 1992, which went undefeated in its spring sprint season. They won gold at the Midwest Championships, Dad Vail Regatta, Eastern Sprints and a national title at the Collegiate National Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wisehart served as varsity co-captain and the club's secretary in 1992-93. Currently, she holds a Level III Coaching certificate from US Rowing.
