OAK RIDGE, TN -- The University of Iowa rowing team competed in all five final events at the Aramark Central/South Sprints. Four of the five final events were in Final C.

The Hawkeyes came out and made a strong statement on the second day of racing, winning three races in Final C events. Both first and second varsity boats won its event in Final C, along with the open four in Final C. Iowa held off Cincinnati to place second in the varsity four also in Final C. Competing in the Petite Final, the novice eight boat finished in fifth place.

"We raced very well today with young crews. We have a very promising future," said Head Coach Mandi Kowal.

This regatta concludes the regular season for the Hawkeyes.
