While at Virginia, Pritzker won two NCAA championships as associate head coach (2010, 2012), along with two runner-up finishes (2005, 2007). Virginia won eight ACC titles in his nine years with the program.

Pritzker was named the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association National Assistant Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2010.

Pritzker was a four-year letterwinner at Yale University and earned his master's degree from Virginia.

HEAD OF THE IOWA COMING UP: The UI women's rowing team will host the annual Head of the Iowa on Oct. 28. The Head of the Iowa will be hosted at Lower City Park and the Beckwith Boathouse.

Additional information, including race schedules, competing teams and other event information will be released at a later date.

QUOTING COACH PRITZKER: "While we certainly know the spring season is the priority for our team, we are looking forward to having some variety in our competition," said Pritzker. "We look forward to seeing a number of schools that historically have been competitive at the national level. We will use this as an initial benchmark for the team after the first few weeks of development."
