    University of Iowa sophomore Sarah Langlas has been named ESPN the Magazine Academic all-District. The announcement was made by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

    Langlas, a second team selection, boasts a 4.0 grade-point average as a Business major. The midfielder is from Wheaton, IL, and is a two year letterwinner. She has started 31 games as a member of the Iowa soccer team, and has recorded four goals.


    Langlas and the Iowa women's soccer team will compete in the final game of the regular season Saturday at Purdue. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
