The University of Iowa softball team will be the No. 4 seed in next week's Big Ten Softball Tournament after finishing the regular season with a 10-7 record in conference play. The Hawkeyes will face No. 5 seed Purdue, who finished the regular season with a 32-31-1 overall record and a 10-9 record in Big Ten play Friday, May 11 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Ohio State will host the Big Ten Softball Tournament after claiming the regular season title with a win over Penn State Sunday. The Big Ten Softball Tournament will be played May 10-12 at Buckeye Field.
