IOWA CITY, IA - University of Iowa diving coach Bob Rydze has been selected as team leader for the U.S. Diving team for some upcoming international competitions. Rydze will lead the U.S. team at the 2005 Canada Cup Grand Prix, March 6-8 in Montreal, Canada. He will also lead the squad at the 2005 World Championships, July 17-31 in Montreal.

Rydze just completed his 30th season with the Hawkeyes. Junior Nancilea Underwood became his 29th diving all-American with her runner-up finish on three-meter and third-place finish on one-meter at last weekend's NCAA Championships.
