ZHUHAI, CHINA -- University of Iowa diver Nancilea Underwood won two bronze medals at the fourth event of the FINA Diving Grand Prix in Zhuhai, China, April 1-3.

Underwood took home a bronze medal in the three-meter springboard event with a score of 317.34. Wu Minxia, of China, took first with 363.72 points.

In the three-meter synchronized diving event, Underwood teamed up with Cassidy Krug, a sophomore at Stanford, to win another bronze medal. They compiled a score of 272.04.

A junior from Spring, TX, Underwood finished second on three-meter at the NCAA Championships, recording the best finish ever for Hawkeye diving. She also took third on the one-meter. Underwood holds the University of Iowa school and Fieldhouse Pool record of 348.25 on three-meter. She also holds the school and pool records for 11 dives on three-meter, both set in 2003.
