The Iowa women's tennis team competed today in the second day of the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Northwestern University. The Hawkeyes faced competition from Northwestern and New Mexico.

Against Northwestern, the Hawkeyes had one winner. Junior Meg Racette defeated Cristelle Grier (6-3, 6-3). Iowa won twice against New Mexico. Junior Hillary Mintz defeated Quintal (6-4, 6-2). Freshman Merel Beelen defeated White (7-5, 3-6, 7-5).

The Hawkeyes will resume competition at the Wildcat Invitational tomorrow.
