The Iowa women's tennis team upset the 20th-ranked Michigan Wolverines, 4-3. The Hawkeyes move to 10-4, while the Wolverines drop to 21-2.

In doubles, the team of Meg Racette and Hillary Mintz defeated 30th-ranked Michelle DaCosta and Kara Delicata, 8-1. The duo of Chelsea Glynn and Hilary Tyler were victorious over Kavitha Tipirneni and Leanne Rutherford, 8-3, to gives the Hawkeyes the doubles point.

At the No. 1 singles spot, Racette won over DaCosta, 6-2, 6-3. Deni Alexandrova won the No. 5 match against Rutherford, 6-3, 6-1. With the last point coming down to Anastasia Zhukova and Chrissie Nolan at No. 4 singles, Zhukova won a hard-fought match, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4.

The Hawkeyes will host the Michigan State Spartans tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m.
