Molnar, a native of Guelph, Ontario, and a 2012 Iowa graduate, outlasted No. 2 seed Indy de Vroome of the Netherlands in the quarterfinals 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (2), and upset the top seeded Sherazad Benamar of France 6-2, 6-0 in the finals.
