The Wildcats: The Wildcats are 41st in the rankings with a 2-1 record. Their victories have been against Utah and Wichita State, with a loss to No. 31 Mississippi. Junior Maria Rosenberg was named this week's Co-Big 12 Player of the Week.

Newsworthy Against Marquette: The Hawkeyes won against Marquette, 6-1. The only point lost to Marquette was a forfeit at the No. 6 spot.

In the Rankings: The Hawkeyes moved down two spots to 68th in the ITA Rankings. The rankings are voted on by every member of the ITA Regional Committee.

Quoting Coach Wardlaw: "This weekend will offer us the chance to take on two of the better teams in the country and give us a good indication of where we are on a national level. I'm pleased with our progress so far and look forward to seeing how we respond to a challenging weekend."
