IOWA CITY -- University of Iowa women's tennis player Mili Veselinovic has been named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week.  Veselinovic shares the honor with Christine Bader of Michigan State. The announcement came Thursday from the Big Ten office.

Veselinovic earned the honor after strong performances against Furman and Alabama last weekend. She defeated Lauren Osborne of Furman, 6-3, 6-3, and Shelley Godwin of Alabama, 6-1, 6-4. Veselinovic, with teammate Jacqueline Lee defeated Furman's duo of Osborne and Lauren Tomory, 8-3.

The Hawkeyes are ranked 61st in the ITA Tennis rankings and return to action February 23rd, hosting DePaul at 6 p.m.
