PARK RIDGE, IL - University of Iowa women's tennis player
Jacqueline Lee has been named to the 2007 all-Big Ten team. In addition, freshman
Kelcie Klockenga has been named Iowa's sportsmanship honoree. The announcement was made by the Conference office.
Lee went 11-9 in dual match play this spring including 7-4 in conference competition at the number one singles spot. She also went 9-11 in dual doubles competition, including 5-5 in the conference. Klockenga posted a 6-14 spring record including 3-4 against Big Ten opponents. She went 10-8 in doubles competition with teammate Kayla Berry.
The Hawkeyes went 7-3 in Big Ten play under Coach Daryl Greenan this season, earning the fourth seed in the Big Ten Championship.
Lee, Klockenga, and the rest of the Hawkeyes will compete this weekend at the Big Ten Championships in Minneapolis, MN.
