IOWA CITY, Iowa - - University of Iowa junior Sonja Molnar and senior Jessica Young have received an at-large selection to the 2011 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships as a doubles team. The duo is one of 32 teams nationwide to be selected to the tournament.

Molnar and Young are just the third doubles tandem in school history to receive a NCAA Women's Tennis Championships bid. Molnar and teammate Merel Beelen were selected in 2010 while Toni Neykova and Shera Wiegler made back-to-back appearances in 1999 and 2000. Molnar and Young, currently ranked No. 35 by the ITA, have compiled a 13-6 record this season that includes five wins against nationally ranked opponents.

The Division I doubles championships will be hosted by Stanford University on May 25-30 at Taube Tennis Center in Stanford, Calif.
