Iowa women's tennis player Steffi Hoch (Hovelhof, Germany) has been named to the 2003 all-Big Ten team. The announcement came today from the Big Ten Conference.

Playing most of the season at the No. 2 position, Hoch posted a record of 16-17, including an 8-3 mark in the Big Ten. She moved up to the No. 1 singles position in the last two dual meets to finish with a 2-0 record at that position. She was also a member of the No. 1 doubles team with sophomore Gloria Okino. The tandem finished with a 13-18 overall record.

Hoch is the 14th all-Big Ten women's tennis selection in school history and the eighth Iowa women's tennis athlete to receive this honor.
