The Big Ten Championships are set to begin Friday at 10 a.m. (CT)

2004--Indoor- Big Ten 400-meter champion (54.17) and runner-up in 200 meters (23.97)...ran second leg on 1,600-meter relay that set school record of 3:44.47 and placed third at Big Ten Championships...led team in 200 (23.62) and 400 meters (52.83)...NCAA automatic qualifier time of 23.62 at Husker Invite...ran second leg on distance medley relay that provisionally qualified (11:30.36) at Iowa State Classic...that relay ranks fourth on Iowa's all-time bests list...competed in 200 (23.98) and 400 meters (53.00) at NCAA Championships...won 60 meters at Illinois Invite with a collegiate-best 7.50, which ranks third in Iowa's all-time best list...won five of the nince individual events she competed in, placing second in two others...Outdoors- all-American, placing sixth with a collegiate-best and school-record setting 51.94 in 400 meters (52.95) at Drake Relays and 400 meters (53.61) at Mt. SAC Relays... anchored 400-meter relay (46.44) and ran third leg on 1,600-meter relay (3:44.24) to seventh place finishes at Big Ten Championships...ran third leg on distance medley relay that placed third in 11:34.56 at Drake Relays...letterwinner.

2003--Indoor- ran second leg on distance medley relay that provisionally qualified for NCAA Championships in 11:30.38, which ranks fifth on Iowa's all-time bests list...ran lead leg on 1,600-meter relay that led team with 3:45.50 they ran at Adidas Classic...Outdoor- ran anchor leg on 1,600-meter relay that placed fifth at NCAA Midwest Regional with a school-record setting time of 3:36.26...her hand-timed split was 51.8 for that race...also placed sixth in 400 meters (53.09) at NCAA Midwest Regional, earning all-region honors...placed sixth in 400 meters (52.68) at Jamaican National Championships, qualifying for 2003 Pan American Games and World Championships...ran leg on Jamaican 400-meter relay that placed third at 2003 Pan American Games and leg on 1,600-meter relay that placed third at World Championships...ran anchor leg on 1,600-meter relay that placed 19th (3:41.52) at NCAA Championships...qualified for NCAA regional in 400 meters with winning and meet-record setting 53.02 at Iowa Musco Twilight V...also qualified for NCAA regional as part of 400 and 1,600-meter relays...became second student-athlete in program history to win two Big Ten titles at the same meet, winning 400 meters (53.58) and running anchor leg on winning and then-school record-setting 1,600-meter relay (3:38.95) at conference meet...also ran second leg on 400-meter relay that placed third in 44.71 at Big Ten meet...that time ranks second on Iowa's all-time best performances list...led team in 400 meters...ran on one of Iowa's 400 and 1,600-meter relays at every meet...letterwinner.

2002--all-American for national champion Barton County Community College... Indoor- 400-meter regional champion, placing second at national meet... ran leg of 1,600-meter relay that recorded a 3:39.25...Outdoor- 400-meter regional champion, placing third at national meet in 53.08...ran leg on 400-meter relay that won national title and set an NJCAA Championships record of 43.84.

High School- four-time member of Jamaican National Junior Team that competed at World Junior Athletic Championships and Chrifta Games...placed third in 200 (24.90) and 400 meters (54.75) as a senior, and second in 200 (24.85) and third in 400 meters (54.94) as a sophomore at Jamaica Girl's National High School Championships...coach was Constantine Haughton.

Personal- born February 19, 1981...daughter of Harry Williams and Corene Williams...has a twin brother, Sheldon...pre-business major.
