High School- four-time track MVP...all-state as a senior and conference MVP as a sophomore...four-time first team all-conference, winning eight conference titles...set school records in 100, 400 meters, long jump and as part of 800-meter medley, 400 and 1,600 relays, and conference records in 100 meters long jump...six-time state finalist, placing sixth in long jump and 400 meters twice...member of the Gymnastics Academy of Rockford's tumbling team...YMCA rowing crew member...Illinois State Scholar...salutatorian of graduating class...track coach was John Paulick.
