IOWA CITY - University of Iowa volleyball fans can get a sneak-peek at the 2008 Hawkeyes Thursday, Aug. 21, at the annual Black and Gold Scrimmage.  First-year Head Coach Sharon Dingman and the Hawkeyes will take the court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena at 7 p.m.

Iowa returns all six starters and 13 letterwinners from last year's squad.  The Hawkeyes open the 2008 season Aug. 29 against Nicholls State at 4:30 p.m. in the Hampton Inn/Bama Bash, hosted by the University of Alabama.
