2008 -- Cross Country - ran collegiate bests in 3,000 meters (10:43) at Hawkeye Invite, 5,000 meters (16:53) at Auburn Invite and 6,000 meters (21:06) at NCAA Pre-Nationals... those times rank 10th, 10th, and sixth, respectively, in school history... placed 31st (21:50) at NCAA Midwest Regional and 38th (22:03) at Big Ten Championships... was the third Iowa finisher at both those meets... letterwinner.

High School -- won state titles in 3,200 meters (10:59.65) and as part of 3,200-meter relay (9:28.98) senior year... five-time placewinner at state track meet, finishing third at state cross country meet as a sophomore... nine-time conference champion in track... won seven regional titles in track and two in cross country... set school records in 1,600 (4:59.68) and 3,200 meters (10:49.54)... runner-up in 3,200 meters (10:50) at 2008 Midwest Meet of Champions... placed 11th in two miles (10:37.93) at 2008 Nike Outdoor Nationals, and fifth in mile (5:00.43) in 2007... also competed in volleyball and basketball... National Honor Society member... three-time academic all-state... coaches were Mike Verkaik and Dave DeKruyter.
