Leandra Harasta

Leandra Harasta was named an assistant director in 2023 after serving as a full-time intern for one year. 

In her role, Harasta serves as the communications contact for the Hawkeye gymnastics, women’s wrestling and softball teams. She is a member of College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The Brea, California, native earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University at Buffalo where she was a four-year starter on the softball team. She also earned her master’s degree in sport management from the University of Florida. She and her husband, Logan, reside in North Liberty with their dog, Duke.
