Hawkeyes Host Milwaukee

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa baseball team welcomes Milwaukee to Duane Banks Field on Tuesday for a midweek matchup at 6:05 p.m. (CT). Admission is $2.

The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 22-15 record and the Panthers come into the contest with a 10-26 record.

As a team, Milwaukee is hitting .260 and its pitching staff has a 6.39 ERA. They are led by Justin Hausser with a .327 batting average, and Carson Hansen leads the team with 39 RBIs.

Overall, the Hawkeyes are hitting .308 as a team, while ranking 20th in the nation averaging 8.8 runs per game. The Iowa pitching staff has a 5.95 ERA and ranks seventh in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings.

Raider Tello leads the team with a .368 batting average. Tello leads the team with 49 RBIs followed by Davis Cop with 46.

Kyle Huckstorf leads the team with six home runs and Sam Petersen has a team high 16 stolen bases.

Iowa leads the all-time series with Milwaukee, 13-10. The teams first met in 1995 for a two-game series with Iowa winning both games, 10-4 and 6-4. The teams most recently met in 2022 with Iowa winning 12-1 in seven innings.
